Featuring Rudi Gammo/Judith Pontius case updates with attorney Barton Morris
Federal De-Scheduling cannabis discussion with ED of Global Cannabis Congress, Alan Meyer, and Rez Kahn from DNA Genetics
Join Jazz Cabbage hosts Jamie Lowell and Rick Thompson as they welcome guest attorney Barton Morris from the Cannabis Legal Group to the show. He updates the crew on the case of 80-year old Judith Pontius, who is facing jail time for cultivating cannabis in her home in defiance of a local ordinance; and Rudi Gammo, in prison and awaiting a decision from a judge about his sentence being voided by request of the Oakland County Prosecutor, Karen MacDonald.
After, the Patch is invaded by Rez Kahn and his attorney Alan Meyer from DNA Genetics and the Global Cannabis Congress, who discuss why they feel we have to have federal legalization and a 5% tax on cannabis.
Jazz Cabbage received an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards in April of 2021, and was named one of America's best cannabis podcasts by Celeb Stoner Magazine. The broadcast takes place live every Tuesday at 4pm EST on Youtube, Twitch and Facebook; podcast is available for listening shortly thereafter on Alexa, Spotify and all major platforms.
