Moving from China to North America with Sky

In today’s episode Sky shares some of her very personal experiences living in North American after moving alone at 20 years old from China. Sky dives into what it was like going to a predominately white school in the United States, how she copes with anxiety without her family near as a support system, and how influential professors can be in one's life.
Sky is a graduate research assistant working for the Animal Welfare Program at the University of British Columbia. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in Animal Science and a minor in Computer Science. Sky is very passionate about improving the welfare of dairy cows on an individual level with the use of technology on large-scale dairy farms.
