In real life, this almost never happens. The expression was a key part of the book “Lean In”, written by Sheryl Sandberg who was a leader in Google and now works for Facebook. She says women should be stronger in the workplace.

= In English that would be “don’t waste things.”
hamburgers
= ハンバーガー (Notice the “s” on the word. Native Japanese speakers usually pronounce the “s” too softly. You should say the “s” strongly! Or, you can order “a hamburger.” Also note that ハンバーグ in English is called “hamburger meat”.)
