On this episode I welcome my mother Nylon McKenzie. This conversation is the first of many future episode discussing the integration of schools in Mississippi. My mother was apart of the first integrated graduating class in Quitman, Mississippi. She shares her memories of attending both Shirley Owen (the black school) and Zac Huggins (the white school)and how it impacted her life. We were also joined by a future guest on All Steak No Sizzle Jimmy McKenzie. He is my father and Nylon's Husband.
