In 1982 21 year old Jo-Ann Turman was sitting in Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles eating a combo number 9 when 34 year old actor Glynn Turman first laid eyes on her. Jo-Ann knew exactly who Glynn was, but also thought that he was a married man and wanted nothing to do with him. After Glynn set the record straight (in an unforgettable way) Jo-Ann knew he was the one. In this 2017 interview for the second season of Black Love Doc, Glynn and Jo-Ann get candid about the lessons they learned about partnership, why it took ten years before Glynn wanted to commit to a marriage, and why they've been able to make it all these years.
