REDEMPTION! In this week’s episode of the United Pulse Podcast the full cast reunites to breakdown and for lack of a better term celebrate Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur in a spectacle of a match which saw some VAR controversy as well as some fiery words from both managers post game. The lads first discuss the controversial VAR call that was made that disallowed the first goal of the match scored by Edinson Cavani, which breaks down into whether or not VAR is a fundamental problem or if the interpretation is what is wrong with the system. The fellas then move on to discuss the rest of the match which included Fred’s performance as he scored his first goal since 2018 as well as Paul Pogba’s performance once again coming from the wing as opposed to the midfield. The boys then close off by discussing the comments made by both managers regarding the aforementioned VAR call, as well as a preview of Manchester United’s next match, the second leg of the Europa League Quarter Finals against Granada where United hold a 2-0 lead.
