Technology and innovation will carry the logistics and supply chain industries for years to come. If there is anything that we have learned in 2020 is that we need things shipped to us in lighting speed times.
When we think about logistics at a glance we usually don’t think about a woman minority-owned logistics company out of the south until Hope White CEO of H.D. White Logistics, LLC arrived.

With two locations in Georgia and a headquarters in the Atlanta metro area. H.D. White Logistics is a certified minority woman-owned business one-stop environment. This business deals with interstate freight between 48 US States and has over 25,000 carriers.

Before starting her own business, Hope White, the CEO and Founder of the company used to work as the transportation supervisor of Home Depot fulfillment network. It is from here that her spark of interest in this business kindled. It is from there that she decided that she wanted to venture into this business full steam and that is when she started the process of entrepreneurship.

Hope handles all the operations and strategic direction and is constantly working to find more cost-effective solutions for warehouse, supply chains, distribution, and material handling issues.

When talking to Subject Thread Podcast, Hope shared that it wasn’t easy creating a space in this business, The importance of affirmations, the process for certifications as a minority, logistics pros and cons, and what it means to be a woman in this industry.
Along with running her own business Hope is also a member of Great Women’s Business Council, which is a non-profit, she is also part of Operation Lunchbox a non-profit that supplies food to children and she is also a diversity and inclusion trainer.
