Welcome to a new episode of the Geektown Behind The Scenes podcast. This week, we have not one but two interviews. Film editor Morten Højbjerg, and Cinematographer Ollie Downey, who both worked on the hit Amazon series 'Hanna', which was recently renewed for a 3rd Season.

For those of you that haven't caught 'Hanna' yet, it follows the journey of an extraordinary young girl raised in the forest, as she evades the relentless pursuit by off-book CIA agents whilst trying to unearth the truth behind who she is. The series comes from 'The Night Manager's David Farr and stars Esme Creed-Miles in the lead as Hanna.

Film editor Morten Højbjerg discusses getting into the film industry in his native Denmark before moving to London where he is now based. We talk about his editing process on the show, mixing together coming-of-age drama with thriller elements, and his use of sound in the mix to represent incomplete visual effects. We also chat about the responsibility of cutting the pilot episode, and setting the tone and pace of the series.

Cinematographer Ollie Downey chats about taking a sensitive, sympathetic approach to the look of the drama, despite the action-packed nature of the show. We also talk working with writer David Farr as the director on some of the episodes, and keeping the visual consistency whilst shooting in a wide variety of locations and conditions.
